Program Overview
The Home Health Aide Program at Angel Hands Nursing Academy is a comprehensive hybrid program that combines online academic instruction with in-person skills training to prepare students for entry-level caregiving roles in private homes, home care agencies, hospice programs, assisted living communities, and other community-based settings.
This program provides in-depth instruction in personal care, vital signs, mobility and transfer assistance, infection control, client safety and emergency response, communication, client rights and confidentiality, documentation, nutrition and meal preparation, light housekeeping, and activities of daily living.
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to enroll:

- Social Security Card/ ITIN

Pass a physical health clearance exam and TB (Tuberculosis) test
- Complete Live Scan fingerprinting

Have access to a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer

Students must remain current on all tuition payments to continue participation in the program.
Certification Eligibility
Our CNA program prepares eligible students for the California CNA certification examination. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to sit for the state exam.
